Lost & Found

Lost & Found is a collection dedicated to pure ideas based on the diminishing craftsmanship and artisanal nature that has been lost or replaced by hyper industrialization and the obsessive desire for constant change. In an attempt to preserve and revive old techniques and materials, the collection evolves from research and creative experimentation aspiring to define a more complex sense of luxury.

Designer, artist, artisan Ria Dunn creates  two extensive, very hands-on collections twice per year ( really inspiring onces). Its apparent focus is handmade, relaxed, airy, organic garments. Some beautiful knitwear, featuring hand-crocheted seams. She uses noble fibers. Beautiful, very, very expensive, even luxurious in a different sense. The design studio is located in an old textile mill in the Tuscan countryside.

You have to check out Lost & Found’s site for more info, you will find gorgeous look books and images!!!!

Seeking the most unique materials, the knitting yarns are experimented with and combined to create something individual and rare. Designer Ria Dunn and company work with the highest quality cashmere and alpaca and deepen their characteristics by working them with durable yarns such as raw linen or hemp. This creates an exclusive product that is luxurious not only in it’s noble composition, but also in it’s long lasting, imperishable qualities.

This intimate work is designed and made entirely in Italy and is produced by the old hands of those still carrying with them the spirit of “hand made” craftsmanship. Each piece embraces the intense labor and human element that goes into its creation, rather than rejecting it.

Once you see the pieces in the images below, you’ll know exactly why we love this collection.
